Miley Cyrus<\/a> has opened up on the rumoured \u2018feud\u2019 between herself and parents Tish<\/a> and Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A feud<\/a> between Flowers singer Miley, 32, and Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker Billy Ray, 63, has been rumoured since Miley\u00a0appeared to skip her dad\u2019s wedding<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to ex-wife Firerose<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Billy Ray and Miley\u2019s mother Tish Cyrus, 57, were married in 1993 but officially divorced in 2022 \u2013 with Billy Ray marrying Firerose just four months later.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Feud rumours between Miley and Tish recently began after it appeared Tish unfollowed her daughter on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After posing with her dad as well as her boyfriend Maxx Morando<\/a> and her brother Braison to celebrate his 31st birthday, the Party in the USA hitmaker has taken to Instagram to address the alleged tensions in her family.<\/p>\n

On her Instagram Stories, she wrote: \u2018I rarely comment on rumours, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us. She\u2019s my best friend.\u2019<\/p>\n

Further quashing any speculation over a rift between Miley and Tish, the Wrecking Ball singer added: \u2018Like a lot of moms, she doesn\u2019t know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me \u2013 simple, coincidental, and uninteresting.\u2019<\/p>\n

Opening up on her relationship with Billy Ray, Miley wrote: \u2018My dad and I have had our challenges over the years.<\/p>\n

\u2018Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I\u2019m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.\u2019<\/p>\n

Miley signed off: \u2018Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.\u2019<\/p>\n

Posting the image of the quartet on Instagram, Billy Ray captioned the post: \u2018Happy Birthday Braison!!!!!\u2019<\/p>\n

Billy Ray welcomed Miley with ex-wife Tish<\/a>\u00a0in 1992, the year before they tied the knot.<\/p>\n

The former couple also share Braison, 31, and Noah, 25, while Billy also adopted Tish\u2019s children Brandi, 37, and Trace, 36, from her relationship with Baxter Helson.<\/p>\n

After ditching Billy Ray and Firerose\u2019s wedding, Miley also did not thank her father<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in her winning speech at the\u00a0Grammy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Awards in February, and was accompanied by Tish to the glitzy ceremony.<\/p>\n

Following the awards, Billy has reportedly tried to extend an olive branch, with an insider claiming to Us Weekly: \u2018He\u2019s tried reaching out to Miley many times and congratulated her on her Grammys.\u2019<\/p>\n

However, the We Can\u2019t Stop icon\u00a0did serve as maid of honor<\/a>\u00a0as her mother married Dominic Purcell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that Noah took issue with her mom\u2019s relationship with Dominic after she allegedly dated the Prison Break actor. Neither Noah nor Braison attended their mum\u2019s wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The family feud resurfaced again earlier this year when Trace made comments<\/a> about Billy Ray\u2019s disastrous performance at President Donald Trump\u2019s inauguration.<\/p>\n

Billy Ray announced his split from Firerose in 2024<\/a> before announcing a new relationship<\/a> with actress Elizabeth Hurley<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n
